WITH MY WIZARD AND MY GOBLIN CREW
Illustrations of the 4e DnD party my friends and I currently have going. Everyone here is pretty much going strong except Perrin, who died to a vampire not 30 minutes after I finished his sketch.
Kiiriana - Cynical and apathetic ranger guide who would rather not be tagging along with our ragtag band
Aadon - Yes, he is in fact male.
Urik - Alcoholic 126 year old lecherous and horribly gruff dwarf. This is my character. He is alcoholic even by dwarven standards.
Alan - Most normal guy on the crew, had his left hand chopped off by a tiefling warlord.
Balthazar - Straightforward, fundamentalist paladin. Gets his way. Isn't above smiting people with horrible vengeance who try to stop him.
Perrin - Womanizing, extremely suave halfling rogue. The only halfling to ever grow facial hair. Got his throat ripped out by a vampire. He looks tiny because he is. He is also incredibly built for a halfling.
I was pretty much not paying attention and just drawing the whole time XD
I'm pretty sure i cried a little.
it's been almost 3 years since i last played D&D *playgroups are hard to comeby* but i got a couple of friends interested in it and if all goes well, i'll pick it up again during this winter
Now we are starting this new fangled 4th edition with me as the DM, looks a lot more simpler to play than 3.5 from what I've read so far....
It's super smooth and streamlined, a lot of ambiguous or arbitrary rules have been cleaned up, feels a lot nicer and easier to play. So that's a definite plus.
The downside is now everything is a lot (and I mean a lot) more limited. No more crazy multiclassing, really limited '
Overall I enjoy it.
Although I do dislike how limited wizards are.
